Our bodies are our own. Our most precious resource. This spicy-smooth tea has serious "fuck you" energy towards those who would control and dictate the bodies of others, particularly the vulnerable. We're bringing the fury with old-school mythological dark garden vibes rooted in choco-chili heat.
Ingredients: Black tea, yaupon holly, dark chocolate*, chrysanthemum, rose petal, mugwort, serrano chili, natural black cherry and chocolate fudge flavoring, pine smoke
*Dark chocolate contains: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, ground vanilla bean
Approximately 75mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 185° F or 85°C for 3-5 min

This is my absolute favorite beverage, hands down. If you drink tea for the tea flavor itself, go elsewhere -- I mean, it's still very much a tea blend, but the dark chocolate, chili, and smoke are a deeply complex combo, with the floral elements dancing on top. Between the heat of the drink and the heat of the chili, not one I drink much of during summer. But from October through April/May, I cannot get enough of this stuff -- I'll brew some up nearly every day. It find it holds up to three steeps (of increasing length) -- the chocolate and heat tail off on the second and third cups, letting the other flavors peek through a bit more as everything gets more mellow.
If the ingredients pique your interest, I can't recommend this one highly enough. I mean, I just bought a full pound of it to get me from Halloween through spring!
I have a difficult time discerning any flavor other than the chili peppers just because they're so powerful. However, that does make Womb of Doom and effective wake-up tea!
I bought this for the cause (as a start). I am not sure what I expected, but I didn't realize it would pack such a spicy punch! It's also quite smoky. Ultimately it is not for me (though the overall flavor was complex and lovely, I am not good at handling spice) but it is definitely unique and of high quality ingredients, so I certainly do not regret trying it and still recommend if you are feeling adventurous!
I'll be honest, I bought because I fully support the cause. I do throughly enjoy the tea, which is not something I was expecting.
I like dark, complex flavors, and this delivers. Excellent!
