This blend is inspired by Star Trek. Check out the entire delicious collection here!
Hikaru Sulu worked tirelessly in service the Federation during his time aboard the Enterprise, and it was such a thrill to see him take command of his own starship: the Excelsior. This blend of two tippy black teas features smooth, floral notes accented with earthy herbs and enough caffeine to keep a captain sharp for their crew.
Ingredients: Black tea, linden, green sage
Approximately 80mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 205° F or 96.1°C for 2-4 min
Blend by Friday
This blend is available 6/1-9/3 in our Summer fandom rotation!

I'm far more of a casual Star Trek fan, but as a lover of a good, earthy cup, I decided to try this out on my last trip to Friday Afternoon. It's quickly become a favorite in my breakfast rotation: smooth, lightly herbaceous, and medium-bodied. I can smell the linden more than I taste it, but I've come to really enjoy this tea as a reliable, interesting breakfast blend that I can always count on to perk up my morning.
(It's also delicious with just a touch of honey.)
