This blend is part of our Western Zodiac collection. Check out the entire delicious collection here!

The sting of the scorpion is no joke, but great rewards await those who make it through to the other side. Three kinds of pepper challenge the senses in this dark tea. A base of vegetal decay is belied by the sweetness of underground licorice root and the winey fruit leather touch of goji berry. Your tongue will tingle. Your throat will flush. Your low belly will warm and you will beg for more. Scorpio doesn't do small talk. They get right to the heart of things.

Ingredients: Aged dark tea, goji berry, licorice root, black peppercorn, serrano chili flake, Szechuan peppercorn

Steep at 205° F or 96.1°C for 2-5 min

Approximately 65mg of caffeine per cup

Delicious and spicy

I’ve liked every blend I’ve tried so far, and this one is no exception. The flavor is very good and I especially like the spicy kick.

Spice That Hits Just Right

The spice is great and is amazingly smooth on a normal day. Also this tea has saved me when I've had a head cold.

A Little Too Spicy for Me

I love the flavor of this tea. The sweet fruity pepper and black tea rounded out by that cool licorice is so lovely. But this stuff hurts when it hits my throat and burns all the way down to my stomach. I'm a two star spice level guy at restaurants and this tea is a three star, in my opinion. I have to wait for it to cool to drink it.

This is a bit embarrassing to admit because I wish I had more spice tolerance but a warning to my fellow 0-2 star spice people: Maybe try Power or Prepare for Trouble instead, which hit similar notes but aren't quite so hot.

Just a little sting

I love this blend so much! It has so much flavor with a little snap. One of my all time favorites from Friday Afternoon.
