A very distinct and delicious variety of green tea from Japan, Houjicha is made by toasting the stems and twigs of the tea plant. This tea tastes like a journey into the woods and is good for sipping if you need something toasty on your adventures. It's also very low on caffeine so you won't be quite as anxious walking down the road less traveled.
Ingredients: Roasted green tea
Approximately 3mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 185° F or 85°C for 3-5 minutes
