Feel good tea!

This is one of my absolute favorite blends from Friday! It is warm, welcoming, and makes me feel like I'm in a cozy bakery. I always stock up when this is in rotation. 💕

Its like a warm hug

Tell me why I genuinely thought this would taste like wet bread. (Spoiler: It doesn't) This is an absolutely delicious cup of tea. If no one has tried a toasty tea before i highly recommend this one, its got the perfect blend of spices where it feels like a warm hug. Goes great with honey and a baked treat. This is exactly what i would imagine the bakery from Kikis would be like in a cup.

Very tasty! It's great in the morning or afternoon. Light and refreshing even while served hot.

Creative and cozy

I love this tea, it’s warm, spiced, and equal parts mellow and zingy - very grounding! Highly recommend!

Absolutely yummy!

This blend has pretty much everything in it to make the most comforting, soul-warming brew one could imagine. I love malty/toasty flavors, I love barley and toasted rice, and I love goji-- I've never seen anyone actually put any two of those three in one blend, much less all three at once. The ginger and allspice are quite subtle and don't overpower the brew at all, yet you still can feel a bit of spice elevating everything, and the vanilla helps round out all the flavors in the end.

I will say though, to not forget the pot-- I used 2tsp, 250ml water at 180f and then accidentally let it brew to around 7 minutes out, which at that point the Houjicha base was starting to impart a tad too much smokiness. Also, I don't think it takes milk/cream well, at least for me the addition of it didn't really make anything better-- maybe other reviewers can comment on this. I also added a touch of honey, and a few extra dried goji berries from a Costco pound bag (because I'm that kind of indulgent) to nibble on as I drink. The whole thing is just delicious.
